User Guide

①Reservation

To ensure a smooth service, we ask that you make a reservation in advance. Please make a reservation by entering your desired date and time, number of people, and the name of the plan on the page of each plan. Also, please be sure to enter a phone number in Japan where you can be contacted on the day you rent the Kimono.

②Receive a booking confirmation email

If the reservation is successful, an email will be sent to the email address you entered. If there is a problem with the reservation, a staff member will contact you via email. Please be careful on the day.

③Go to the store

Please use "Igarashi Yumiko Museum" as a landmark. Reception and payment will be done at the Igarashi Yumiko Museum. The photo shows the entrance to the main store. You can also come from here.

④Reception and payment

When you arrive at the store, you will be guided to the reception desk. There, you will be asked to check in and pay the fee. Payment can be made by cash or credit card.

⑤choose a Kimono

Our staff will explain the Kimono to you so please choose one. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

⑥Dressing and preparation

If you have not reserved the optional "hair set" and "makeup", please do your hair and make up by yourself before changing. Also, please use the restroom before changing. Those who are ready will change into Kimonos in order. Don't worry, the staff will help you change.

⑦Going out in a Kimono

Once you're all set, enjoy a stroll around the world-famous tourist spot, Bikan Historical Quarter. The Bikan Historical Quarter is within a 3-minute walk from the restaurant.

⑧Take a break at a cafe

When you come back from your walk, please enjoy the free drink service at the cafe next door, Café Princess. A free drink service is included for customers who rent a Kimono from our shop.

If you are not renting a Kimono, there is no free drink service. Please pay and order a drink. Or wait outside.

⑨Return and leave the store

Once you are satisfied, please change out of the kimono into your own clothes. Please finish changing and leave by closing time of 17:00. If you need help changing, please ask a staff member. The staff will put away the kimono you have taken off, so you can leave it there.
